Washington, DC – Matchbox.io, the brand behind some of the world's most popular voice applications on Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Samsung Bixby, has released a new mobile app featuring its award-winning Question of the Day trivia game.

Named Socratix after the Greek philosopher Socrates, who was known for his teaching method of asking questions, the mobile app presents the Question of the Day and related bonus questions, provides extra daily Challenge Questions for Trivia Club members, displays personal statistics for each player, showcases leaderboards at the local, regional, and national levels, allows users to invite friends to play for a friendly in-app competition, and offers fun Game Packs on a wide variety of topics, from Animals and Science to History and Literature.

Available on iOS and Android platforms, Socratix also provides the opportunity for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant users to sync their accounts for seamless play when they're away from their smart speakers.

"Early reaction from our Socratix users has been overwhelmingly enthusiastic," explained Joel Wilson, Founder and CEO of Matchbox.io. "Users like that they can play with friends, see all of their stats in one place, and interact with more questions each day on Socratix."

In the coming months, Matchbox plans to add more of its family-friendly games to Socratix, with additional plans to make the app fully voice-enabled.
